The Art of Human Rights

UPDATE: Thanks everyone that made this year’s Heartland Alliance art event a success! I had a wonderful time talking about my new work and it was great to see so many familiar faces for the past three days…thanks again for the support!

Heartland Alliance for Human Needs & Human Rights will present “The Art of Human Rights,” an invitational exhibition featuring silent and live auctions with wine, gourmet fare, and live music. Paintings, drawings, photography and sculpture created by twenty-four hand-selected, established fine artists.

Honorary Chair:
Charles Gniech of Gallery 180 - Illinois Institute of Art

MAIN EVENT:
Saturday, March 10, 2012 ~ 7 – 10pm
Tickets to this event are $125 in advance and $150 at the door.
Ticket information is available online at: www.artofhumanrights.com

COFFEE WITH THE ARTISTS:
Sunday, March 11, 2012 ~ 9 – 12 noon
This is a more casual event... it will be an opportunity for patrons to return to the venue, talk with the artists, and make any last minute purchases.

WHERE:
Coalition Gallery – 217 N. Carpenter Street, Chicago, IL 60607

Funds raised through The Art of Human Rights will support the work that Heartland Alliance does to ensure that everyone has a roof over their head, access to health care, the opportunity to earn income to support themselves and their families, and to be treated fairly and with justice.
